It will contain photographs, videos, documents, certificates and whatever else can be pieced together of his much too short but much lived life. (08 February 2022) I encouraged my dad to have a LiveJournal and he started it at an interesting time in his life, when he was reconnecting with birth family. I have posted the journal as it was, save for one repeated photo that was in his trailer entry. The only thing that I am not sure of is who his birth father was and he did not know for certain either, though it was discussed. His posts were “frlends only” locked only after he had thought that his entries might upset birth family members at the time. In December 2021, I had a landline, tv & internet hooked up for him at the apartment. (He died 2 months later, dammit.) He didn’t get a chance to get the internet going but wanted to return to writing and talked about it. I wish he had. I wish he had made vlogs and told his stories to the internet himself. Those who knew him throughout his life know he was a man of many stories. Like the film ‘Big Fish’, you’d be surprised to learn how much of them were true.
“Will Bloom: A man tells his stories so many times that he becomes the stories. They live on after him, and in that way he becomes immortal.”
